It’s Thursday isn’t it? I never could get the hang of Thursdays. You’re almost at the end of the week but you still have 2 days of work to get through before you can opt for a sleep in and a yummy breakfast at your favourite place if you’re so inclined. Today I am getting over the Thursday odds (well, they’re not really blues, but they are odd!) by spending some time with the art of Leslie Ditto. Her pop-art paintings are divine, and while Antiques Roadshow is the soundtrack of my afternoon, Leslie’s bright and vibrant works are just the kick up the arse I need to get moving, get working and get smiling. There’s not a lot of info about this wonderful artist online, hence I have fluffed a bit in this blog, but her work speaks a thousand words, so let your eyes do the reading (well they do anyway I guess, don’t they?) and drink it all in!
