I think we’re in love! Brad Trent is definitely our new favourite photographer (well this week at least – you know how fickle we media types are) and with good reason. Hot damn can this man shoot some images! We have been simply swooning over his portfolio – Hugh Jackman, OutKast, Spielberg – and everyone loves a bit of Jon Bon Jovi – whether they like to admit it or not. Self confessed ‘cat person’ and ‘wine geek’, Brad ‘grew up in a string of small towns in Western Canada’. After tasting some sweet success in Calgary, Brad then moved to New York aged 22, where he advises he had to start looking for that sugary mistress all over again. By 25 he was shooting for Life, and from there it became a rocket ride of amazing shoots for some top notch clients including Esquire, The New York Times, Pepsi, General Motors, IBM, Pacific Bell and more, more, more. Brad also mentions he has black bears in his front yard – so now we are really jealous. That’s too cool for school mon ami!
