I’ve always been a sucker for propaganda posters from China, especially those from the 1970s and 80s, and so it was easy to fall in love with the work of Quentin Shih, a self-taught photographer and film maker born in Tianjin, China but who now spends his time between Beijing and New York. His amazing photos have appeared in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and Esquire.
