Portuguese photographer Jose Ferreira dares to take his lens beyond the glittery fashion photography that adorns his folio – to the Trash lands of Mozambique. Located in Southern Mozambique, a few meters from the airport in Maputo, is the Hulén dump – but to some this is also home. Looking through his amazing documentary photography, cacooned in your everyday cups of coffee and pastry, spare a moment to consider the lengths these people go to to survive in these worlds of waste, a hostile, germ and disease ridden hell… but still it is their home.
