OK – stop the pixels (well I can’t say press now can I?!). Just grab yourselves an eyeball of this amazing work from Japanese artist Yoriko Yoshida. Created for a recent exhibition entitled 12 Generals, each of these amazing suits of armour represents one aspect of the sexagenary cycle. As Yoriko explains: “They are patron saints who keep to one decided year. 12-shi is sexagenary cycle. They are 12 cycles of year. The sexagenary cycle in 2010 is a tiger.” We’ve only given you a glimpse of the amazing imagery here, but trust us they are all beautiful!
